The mobile crane is a lifting device with suspended load. Also called “ self-propelled boom crane”, it is able to move, with or without a load, without the need for a fixed track and remains stable under the influence of gravity.
It is used on construction sites to carry out lifting, material handling, industrial transfer operations, etc.
Equipped with either a lattice truss boom or a telescopic boom:
The mobile crane has the full complement of equipment. There are wedging plates that are used to wedge and stabilise the machine, hydraulic cylinders and an anti-collision system ensuring the safety of the machine.
Self-propelled, the crane has a single cab for the driving position containing the services for manoeuvring the crane and driving the vehicle. Unlike the truck-mounted crane, designed with two separate cabins that separate the driving of the vehicle and the boom controls.
