The cable ducting is a temporary structure installed above road and/or rail tracks. Its primary function is to ensure the safety of a possible risk of falling cables at the time of the unwinding of high voltage lines crossing the obstacles mentioned above. We offer 2 types of protection:

Potain tower crane.

Provision of Potain tower cranes equipped with “cable fall stop” protection at the end of the antenna. In addition, an option for attaching mesh the antennas (assembly and provision of the Cable Ducting).
A customer needs feasibility study : the customer must provide the characteristics of his project (line creation, maintenance, etc.). The location of the site with a longitudinal profile plan of the site. A date and duration of the service call and finally the type of structure to be protected. A preliminary on-site visit is planned for taking measurements (sizing), determining the necessary equipment and the project feasibility. We carry out commercial offers customised to the needs of the customer.
The PCW65 Cable Ducting from the POTAIN design office is built on the basis of an MDT 269 type tower crane. Specially designed for high-rise protective works (max. 45 metres), and equipped with a protective walkway from 25m to 65 metres and a width of 17 metres; equipment working without a supporting foot. 5 Machines of this type are currently available.
